All this griping about a tire. Oh my God!!!!! I lost a cap once almost 200 miles before my delivery point, 105,500 lbs loaded, I cut the tire offm checked the air pressure on the remaining tire on that axle ( middle axle on a tridem trailer) to be sure it was at max pressure, ran 200 miles no problem. Ran 68 mph the whole way, didn't blow remaining tire, It did not run all that much hotter then the others. Key here is to make sure the tires are at max pressure, they run alot cooler that way.
I would have gotten it fixed but there was NO were to get it fixed, too far out for any road side repair. Waiting for someone to come out would have taken HOURS for them to get there.
Blown tire: how far do you think I can drive?

Oh and 99% of the time I pull a tripple axle trailer grossing 105,500 the majority of the time. They DO NOT FISHTAIL WITH A BLOWN TIRE!!!! been pulling a tripple axle trailer for the better part of my carrier.
Heck I broke a leaf spring on my trailers a few times and did not notice it till I got stopped and did a quick walk around or was looking while the truck was unloading.
Go back to school!!!!! -
im pretty sure that dude was just trolling me when he said that i would probably lose control if that other tire had blown
