Hhmm interesting answer ! Considering Volvo on this side of the Atlantic is the most powerful truck in the world! Another intelligent answer from you!! So how much extra power is mack programming getting from those engines?

Your horses must not be as strong as ours.:biggrin_25522: Sort of like the metric system...takes you 2.54 centimeters to equal our 1 inch....1.6 kilometers to equal 1 mile. When you use a smaller unit of measurement, it makes things sound bigger (or more powerful) than they really are.:biggrin_2559:

My information comes straight from the manufacturers websites and brochures. Click the links and you can read the same stuff I did. If you have a problem with the information I provided, perhaps you should contact the manufacturers and discuss your disagreement with THEIR numbers with them.

Interesthing pissing contest.......................just one problem with it:
You cannot compare the horsepower and torque between the North America and the European version off the same engines.:yes2557:
    Why?
Because EPA 10 is SCR and EGR while Europe is running SCR only until 1 Jan 2014.(Euro 6)

The only manufacturer that you can compare is Freightliner/Mercedes as that is the only engine running in the same configuration on both continents.
    The DD13 engine.
But even then you have to look which version as the DD13 is offered in Europe as EURO5 and EURO6.

ps EPA10 is close to EURO6(the EURO 6 being a little more stringend)
