Dont shot for either of those companys you will be a slave to them. Do more research and find a company that fits your needs... Also C! in Springfield has great trainers listen to them and digest every thing they teach you. If you can pass your written test before going there you will get alot more time behind the wheel of the truck...

Well its the only two comapnies that sponsor this program... Right? No choice if i want them to pay some of my tuitions.. I was contemplaiting on taking the permit course, i want to.. I know i can pass it. Ive been studying for months.. But they wont make me take it again will they?

If you go in with your learners permit you won't have to sit through all the class time. Also most company's have a tuition reimbursement program. If you have you go to the Missouri career center in Springfield the state will give you a full scholarship if there is money still in the program also ...
NewbieRick Thanks this. -
Just noticed your in Pacific check with your local Career center there...

No they will not make you take it again as long as its a MO permit. Or they shouldn't.
I have no issues at USA. Been here since December 2011. But I do have a good dispatcher/fleet manager. I think that's the key no matter where you go. I will tell you Pam wants you to team drive for at least the first 6 months. That was a deal breaker for me. I know my temperment and I could not handle being in a truck for long periods of time with someone I don't know. I may like them less once I did get to know them. Hell I barely made it thru school. Lol.
But I'm honest

Well i will look into the career center and see if i can sponsored or something.. And yea, i agree with you on the team driving thing... Dont like that.. How is USA on their rider policy? Will they allow my girlfriend to ride along once im thro OTR training?

And how many miles do you pick up a week? Do you mind telln me your starter wage per mile?

You don't want to have to sign a contract with the company because you may be locked in working for them for 100000 miles or a year or both. This can be a bad thing if locked into a contract with a company. Look into other company's like schnieder , roehl , us express, etc. There is a really awesome company there next to c1 in Springfield called Transland they have 300 trucks and a great family to work for, they train new drivers also. Pam Swift Usa Prime are all bottom feeders that only care for the bottom dollar..
