At&t was a service I used in Washington. The Phone " Rugbie 2"

Now that Im on the East coast pulling from Florida north(and not using Att), what is the best service and cellphone to use?
Im not concerned about the money, Im concerned on being able to comunicate with everyone clearly from anywhere.
What is everyone using for their Labtop internet on the road as well?

    Thank you,
    Ghost :happy9:

Millenicom for Internet. Multiple plans to choose from using either Verizon or sprint network depending on plan. Way cheaper than going thru the actual carrier.

AT&T or Verizon for cell service. Better coverage than the others for the most part but sprint and t mobile would work. Check out what phones you like (most phones are on multiple carriers) and check out the plans and the pricing. Decide what you want and or need and price it at the companies you've narrowed it down to. AT&T and Verizon are more expensive than other companies but usually have better coverage. Some regional companies say you must use 50-80% of the talk and data in their region. So not good for OTR.

I use AT&T but nothing against Verizon. Just been with them since 1997 when it was bell south mobility to Cingular now AT&T. No reason to change. I pay way less than I would with any other carrier. But I get discounts is why. I pay $77 for a $115 package.

Sent from somewhere out there on the road.

Yes, their first question is"Have you ever posted a random question in a completely unrelated thread of a trucking forum?" , to which you can now happily reply," Why yes, I have."

I carry Verizon. Dad is a 25 year trucker and swears by Verizon on the road. Says he has better coverage than any other carriers. He also uses a Verizon hotspot. I'll probably start doing the same. Had issues when I had at&t. Like Verizon much better.

Apple still hasn't released anything about the iPhone 5, that I can find. The only info is speculations coming from techy sites.

On topic, I would go with the Verizon. I've ran all over the place and Verizon has never let me down.
