Does anyone know any CDL paid training school sin TX for oilfield?

Again hit up ffe if he is looking for oil field work. They are hiring. They dont just do a training academy.

Stay away from FFE. I work the oil fields on weekends. I'm on standby right now. If you don't have the money for school, When I was at C-1, Halliburton sent several people there to attend. Be prepared, they have to wear their Flame retardent PPE. It is hot.

I haul water to and from the gas rigs on weekends in a vacuum truck. I also take mud from the rigs as needed. But I get 2 days off. Halliburton will work his butt off. Lots of hours. But I think they make it worth it. They all drive nice Ford trucks out at the rigs.

 

If you want the South Texas oilfields, be aware that most companies are looking for a Class-A CDL with HazMat/Tanker AND experience because of the HazMat spill risk. Some may have you start with a non-HazMat tanker, such as hauling water (or even milk) until you've got some experience. Typically 12 hour shifts, two weeks on/one week off, etc. Here is a list of some oilfield companies in South Texas. Google them for details, requirements, training, etc.:

There are plenty of jobs for inexperienced drivers, especially in West Texas. When I moved here in January the ink was still wet on my CDL. I had no driving experience at all but I got hired. If you can't afford a CDL mill try Key Energy. They have a 5 week training program in Victoria, TX. It's paid training. Try googling it.

One other thing, don't believe all the naysayers on this thread. There's plenty of opportunity out here. Check out some of the threads under "Truckers and the Trucking Industry" : "Trucking Jobs" on this forum. My story isn't unique, several people have done it and will be glad to share info with you.
