Ah, they just need a verifiable work history. If you were on unemployment, they check that. If you had temp work, they will verify that also. Maybe if you find someone to sponsor you in, you might have a better chance? I dunno.

Does anyone know about how long it takes for Prime to do your back round check after you fill out an application and speak with a Recruiter ?

 

Depends on how much there is to look through... Id call on Monday and ask

 

OK Thanks ORD . I was just asking because I filled out an application on Wednesday followed by a phone interview with a Recruiter ( Ailley ) she said that the results of my back round would be available by Friday afternoon and she would call me and let me know if I was approved or not . I didnt get a call back on Friday so I figured I give her a call sometime next week .

 

It also depends on how quickly past employers respond among other things.

 

Beaker Breaker for a question check! Howdie Prime drivers been thinking of prime for a long time. But im thinking i would lease on a truck. I was told they have a specific criteria for leasing on. Would any of y'all know what that might entail? Year, make, model. Im looking at a 99 frieghtshaker ,hood ,flat top its in purtty good shape just old what ya experienced prime drivers

 

You purchasing one or coming on to lease? If its lease nothing older that 3 to 4 years old. Or if it is over 650k miles. Freightliner cascadias are available as well as PETES, a few KW and Internationals.

 

2010 is the earliest model they will take as a new lease-on. That was the info we got when we asked.
