Most of my runs are between 400 & 700 miles and I get between .25 & .28 a mile.
And I'm still not getting over 2000 miles a week. But, my fm quit, so maybe my new one will be better, but I doubt it since he told me to turn in a gas receipt for a recovery truck with my trip. Payroll corrected me on that quickly and he won't give me a call to get fax number to send in.Wedge Thanks this. -
Wedge, did you see my PM......orientation is going ok...couple guys from first class are dimiss for different reason and trying to be positive that I will be hired on friday so far everything looks good only had one guestion about my date i had a mishap a car slid into me.....but we will see......alot of trucks there and hearing different comments if I can "request" a truck or what is around to give to me.....fingers are crossed for a prostar....nice truck....... read the pm for me....7 guys now in are class onewas let go due to the physical lifting part,,,,,,,,, i did fine....heart rate stayed low...... will try to post more tomorrrow.......be safe

You can have my prostar!

You should investigate that. You were going back and forth between solo and team so it's possible that somehow you fell between the cracks. Contact payroll about your CPM rate. You're a solo OTR driver.
If your FM quit he probably wasn't interested in doing his job. Make sure to build a repore with your new FM. -
I will check on that first thing in the morning, Wedge. I had made a call before and got the run down from payroll, and that was one of the figures she quoted. Teams are .32 per mile split, if I remember right. I am getting a bit tired of the bs, though. I know I can go elsewhere and get better money, I was just hoping to stay put for a year. I hate job hopping, but in this industry it seems to be normal.

Just be straight-forward and honest. Always the best policy. If the car slid into you, it shouldn't be a problem.
There may be some flexibility when it comes to truck assignments. You'll find out I'm sure.
7 guys in your class? Lucky you. I think there were 50 in mine. -
I can understand your frustration. Work the problem from the source. If you're solo, you should be paid accordingly.
Be careful about job hopping. You're at a stage where your career miles are low, and if you leave too soon, you may have to go out with a trainer at your new company.
Just an FYI. -
Hello There.
"My Dixie is still busted!"
Translation: My truck is still in the shop.......
Trips and Stats
No stellar numbers for me this week. A mis-placed repair order caused my truck to not be worked on since I dropped in Ellenwood on Saturday. I found that out when I was dispatched a day early. My FM left a message for me and said "We got to roll. Please contact me."
Well if I'm shown being in the shop, I shouldn't be dispatched at all.
Took the trip up to the terminal, and that's when I found out about the mis-placed repair order.
So this Friday's Settlement Sheet: 1,170 miles.
I may have to make another appearance at the shop today, employing the "Squeaky Wheel Technique" to expedite my truck repairs. I'd prefer to be dispatched by my FM before the weekend hits. I'll see how today progresses.
Hey, maybe they'll call me and give me the green light.
For now............more coffee.
Thanks for reading.

Hey Wedge
I thought you were hoping to stay home over the weekend or are you getting back out OTR sooner?
Christine-back to her ol' trick again?
