AT, you ever consider FedEx Ground? There are always contractors looking for drivers. Given that, I am switching contractors for a better gig, but the run I'm on now with the contractor I'm with now (who bought my old contractor out) is 5 days a week, Columbus to Beckley and back, home every night. After taxes my take home on 2275 miles a week is a few pennies short of $800 a week. It's all gravy work. All drop and hook. All terminal to terminal or bump locations like I do at the Tamarak.
I recently applied to Old Dominion but came in late in the process so I wasn't selected. So I stayed at FedEx Ground because I like it there. I just don't like the contractor I am currently with.
Time for a new job, Sugestions????

I know you don't like the 5 weeks out and e-logs but going back to Lone Star would get my vote. Keeps your resume somewhat consistant.
And then once your old enough, you can look into that tanker job for Pilot or Loves. -
The Challenger Thanks this.
