That was also in the suggestion.... to set the warning based upon the speed you enter.

Thanks,

I may have solved this problem....I shut the dock down and when I reloaded it, the version # changed and it showed the button for the map update. I guess the email was just an advertisement to announce the maps being available. So I purchased the LTM for this one unit. I guess I will have to do with out the map upgrade on the other units since they are just spares for just incase and I don't want to spend more money on units that are just sitting in the truck as standbys.

However, I do have a new issue that maybe you can help with. As I have mentioned I have 3 units. I did the upgrade for the one we currently use, I think everything went find. Then, using the same dock, (I shut it down and restarted) I attached one of the standby units so I could update that. But the update button is grayed out and says that it is up to date. The version number is not the same as the first unit that I updated, even the notes about what has been changed does not match the first unit. I would assume all of the units should have the same version when they are done being updated, am I correct?

Why can't I update the other units on this dock. Is it possible to only update one unit per dock? I don't have 3 computers to get all of these updated if that is the case. How do I update these other units?

Thank you

Here are the numbers before updating on current 710 and the numbers after updating the current 710:

Before After
Software version 11.95.2258.1629 12.4.2428.2149
Dock version 1.04505.29452 1.0.4561.24705

Serial Number 710-015831 710-015831
Release Notes Version 12.4.2428.2149

These are the numbers for one of the spares before and after trying to update. The dock will not let me update. It says that it is already updated. This does not look like it is updated to me. How do I get it to update?
Software version 11.4.1968.1813
Dock version 1.04561.24705
Serial Number 710-022913
Release Notes Version 11.4.1968

Also I do not understand how to get the address book and everything off of the current one onto the spares. I backed up the current one and then tried to use the restore on the spare one, I thought it would take the backed up info from the current one and put it on the spare one.

Can you help me to get these spares straightened out?

Thank you.

Did you do any updates last Thursday or Friday? If so, you will have to delete the files in the Logs folder. This was a few posts back. #4344

You have the new Dock...

Last item... did you purchase the LTM's?

Thanks,
Mark

This is going to take some manual folder deletions. Currently because you updated a 710 it will think all 710's are up to date.

If you are computer savvy I can tell you what folder to delete and you will have to delete this folder each time you do an update for each 710. I know it is a hassle, but currently the Dock does not support multi units of the same model.

The same with the folders you would need to move. These are easier as you can copy these folders from the Main TND to your desktop and then onto each spare.

Thanks,
Mark

LTM's can be downloaded to the computer first and then later uploaded to your TND at a later time. This is in response to question on a prior post.

Thanks,
Mark
