Thomas is a good company but they will work you hard. Not sure about 80 hrs though. Ever heard of HOS?? Buddies of mine in Austin make easy 1500-1800 week hauling gas, but they work hard for it, As much as 8 loads a day, and up to 70 hrs a week. You may want to check out Mission and Coastal, but stay clear of Go Petro. A total nightmare mess free for all, as a friend of mine just quit them to go into the oil fields.
SA are losing drivers to the Eagle Ford oil, so you could check out Big Star, who I heard pay as much as $28 hr.

sounds scaboulvicious, unless housing and insurance+ taxes was pulled 1st and that is the final pay
Heard recent Thomas pay was way less in the bone bizarre star state than like up in Bakken Oil Play

Just read online Thomas Petroleum does a double switch on the drivers vacation pay out. Apparently they flat rate this to some unbelievably low mininum wage level, and this is after waiting all year to have the measly 5 day payout. Why is it something this crazy is done after all the cost of recruiting
In the mean time they'll use that super savings to buy out another company and there ya go. They get, you run, they get more, you'd better be ready for more trash talkin and little else
