All you need to do is go back to NJ and have your CDL changed from TX to NJ...

Well... I read all the pages so far amd no.answer as to why you ran through 3 stops? Sounds total unsafe to be doing. At all. During a test or on he road. Period! What did you learn from your trainer? Or what didn't you learn perhaps.....

try the other companies Driver Solutions works with. USA truck for one might give you a shot. Or I hear CRST? not sure about that though. Call Driver Solutions (assuming thats who you went through to begin with) and see if they can steer your toward another training company.

Just for everyone's knowledge on the Texas CDL....The state of Texas will issue a CDL to you with your mailing/home address in another state...example , your address could be listed as 123 main street Atlantic City New Jersey as the mailing address on the Texas CDL and that is valid with Texas.....I held a Texas CDL for 5 years and I did not have a permanate address in Texas..I lived in Wisconsin at the time but worked for a company based out of Texas and just got a Texas CDL

The difference between Texas and the rest of the states is that Texas will take your picture at the dmv BUT will mail your CDL to the mailing address you listed on the license, They will give you a Legal CDL paper to drive on until it comes in the mail to your address.

it is what pam and ffe have been doing for years
big stink about it now in texas legislature
i suppose CRE must do the same with school
i dont think they could just send them home to test
without a trainer or a truck to thier home state

Coasted through (3) stop signs where did you learn that? Coasting is normally done out of gear! You mean you ran the stop signs?
You turned Right on red after stop? Right on red is only for Non- Commercial vehicles! A pedestrian on a bike?Pedestrians are on foot not on bikes! how close was the bike when you turned in it's path without a signal? (4) weeks with a trainer how often did they let you drive? I would not be able to sleep with you driving! I would appeal the decision to send me home and ask to be sent out with a different trainer! THGHost

Local do not require certificatebecause they are local no OTR You need to ask PAM first for a retestfirst so you do not end up owing them 6K plus Interest and a bad DACreport! If, you can not retest then try to get on with a localcompany like a moving company you can start off local and over timecertify to go over the road! some companies will hire you for instate (TX,FL, CA) after 6-12 months of error free diving you can transferto Regional 3-5 States a year later you can go full OTR. This mightbe a blessing you get more experience with out being away from homeif, you NJ has instate drivers!
Do not apply for any Hazmat jobs theywill check everything! Best of luck THGHost
