trucks been sitting for 5 years

I will give my front teeth to own anything that says KW on the front. Even it's a Pete 359 Badged as a Kw. Lol. Seriously a W900 is the ace of a truck, doesn't matter where you come from. I have always had my eye on a K100E. Unfortunately they are far and few between in my country.

 

Sorry for being away for so long.... Wife says I need to get the house empty of trash, insulated, re wired and radiant heat in before I can work on my Pete. My comment is I have been in contact with several carriers who have told me as long as my truck passes dot they would put me on? For those that don't know my truck is a 77 359 with a 425 cat 3406c. It had been sitting for a few years when I bought it. They gave me new batteries and i drove it for six hours to get it home. The truck I paid 9 grand for ran GREAT!!! Going down hill with my foot on the floor I bet I hit a good 55 or 60 mph...lol...This was a stupid idea but that's what I'm known for ...... Making the seemingly bad idea work....life would be so much easier if I could just listen and read the posts from you guys who know better than I. However I get a lot of pleasure out of doing things the hard way (my way) I enjoy the challenge!!!!! Thanks to all the posters who share thier insights and knowledge to help less knowledgable and do it yourselfers.
