The Title would be his BOL. If he owns the cargo he does not need a BOL because he is not being paid to transport it.

When I moved to NJ, I was able to fill my reefer with two cars and a bunch of other junk.

I call BS. Simply on the grounds that no one moves to Jersey we are all trying to get out.

I have heard it said, (and I believe it is true,) that there is NO legitimate, (or for that matter illegitimate,) reason to move to NJ.

Well, someone's gotta stand up for the Ol' Garden State .... Not lookin' to make waves, but as an ex-military firefighter, I have lots of good memories around McGuire AFB, and as a trucker, I have lots of good memories (really ... I do ... ) of hauling loads out of the Hercules Plant in Sayerville/Parlin. Spent time living and working out of Asbury Park (Asbury park Press). Beautiful.

Now - Not sayin I'd move there, but no reason thus far not to.

Someone once asked me ( in the 80's ) why NJ smelled like trash and NYC smelled like pee ........ I laughed for about 15 minutes .... caught my breathe, ..... and told them to stop spending time at the Vince Lombardi Service Plaza .... that it was bad for tourism in the tri-State region.

That yer both from Jersey, Bro. It's a joke.

Be proud to list your 'location' as NJ - not everyone can say that !!

Most highway drivers won't even go to the Tri-State area without a pay bonus -- where as some of us used to request it !!

Big Don, KANSAS TRANSIT and dirtyjerz Thank this.
