Fl ok tx are 3 states that I know waive the driving test. I have a memo that I can send you that will work. Just get some lt to sign it. You will also need a form from the state DMV signed by a recruiter when you get the license. I did mine in ok the transferee to ga when I ets'ed good luck

I got mine that way in Ohio. I was a Ranger for 8 years but had gone too 88M school in Ft. Leonard Wood for my reserve unit when i ETS'd. All I had to have was 10,000 miles driving a military truck. And I did not have too take the driving test, only had to pass the written portions. Call or email your local CDL Examiners station when you can, they can give you the right info.

In Indiana they will waive the "skills" test if you have had something like 2 years exp in the military, but you'll still have to take the written tests. It also requires some paperwork from Guard or Army.

Very same thing a lot of states are doing. I know Iowa is in that camp.
-
Go to VA they have a form you need to take to DMV Obama passed something allowing military personnel to get there cdl. Down at ft hood the tankers and mrap drivers are doing it daily

All that did was help CDL mills and starter companies exploit veterans. There are much better opportunities available to veterans than the trucking industry.
