    Can a Shaffer driver chime in and tell me if you are allowed to unload your own truck and if so, how much do they pay you to do it?

    At Shaffer, you are free to unload your own freight any time you want. I do not unload because they will not pay me the same thing they would pay a lumper. I do not know how much they actually pay now.
