I am pretty sure that once that 10 days is up though, they cut you loose. Not a long process of 6 weeks with a trainer etc. So it may actually be faster.
Another sorta newbie question

10 day orientation? Most of those deals are just waiting for the drug screen to get back. No real orientation. That is for company drivers anyway. O/O might have longer times. And I would guess lease operators would need the longest time as anyone so slow as to sign a lease must have a lower learning curve.

Found out today that my number one choice for a job has moved forward a bit. My application is sitting on the owners desk.
One other choice is trans systems and they said I needed a year of recent experience,However they said they liked my application so they put me in the computer to stay in touch with them. Nice folks there.
I also got a call from WKSH and they said I could start on Mon if I wanted. Best person on the phone so far.
Then Gordon called and wanted to hire me as well. There recruiter not so good. He kept saying they have terminals in MT,but could not tell me where.
Both pay about the same so some research is gonna be required. -
Well it looks like I will be starting at Watkins and WKSH in Nov!
Have to wait for the wife to have surgery and recover first so I do not have to ask for time off right after I start.
All my research on here and elsewhere has pointed to them being a good choice.
Thanks Everyone!
