I start at about 10pm-1am pretty much every other night I layover around 9-10am sleep durin the day, usually unwind let myself get tired fall asleep around 12-1pm then crash out for usually 6-7 hrs in a hotel. Then head back and get back around 9-10am and go to sleep around 12-1pm do it again. I don't know about you but when I drive through the night into the day I'm spent and can crash the hell out after im done. Sometimes 7hrs sometimes 5hrs I can run on 5hrs thru the night and usually have to take a 20min nap or two when that happens. If I need more of nap I will take it they can wait since I'm runnin thru the night for them. I'm use to it's no big deal to me. You eventually get use to it unless your flip flopping day and nights now that's hard. Just don't get all worked up about it that's what usaully keeps you up. Ive had my share of being up 24-30hrs straight after getting a run done it's gonna happen in this industry. Nature of the beast.

0630 every morning. Once in awhile I go in a little earlier ( 0600 - 0615h ) if I have more than one trailer to deliver. I punch out before 1700.

I start at 8:30am... Right in the rush hour traffic both for me driving my car/pickup into work and leaving the yard in the big truck....

My shift changes sometimes thru the year but not often... Like when the temp employees get laid off in December then I go on nights which I start at 8pm.... The best shift I have had was 4am I loved it !!!

I start every night around 630pm, usually finish by 700 to 800am. And i love it. no traffic to deal with, but the night running brings out a certain type of crowd if you know what i mean..... I have a 2 and a 4 year old at home and trust me, sleep is a rare commodity at times. I actually started wearing ear plugs when i sleep. Make sure your bed is very comfortable and your bedroom as dark as possible. good luck

depends, anywhere between 1am and 8 am depending on what needs to be delivered. The best time I ever had, we used to hvae the Kraft/Nabisco account. Container loads of cookies/crackers coming in from Chicago, there was 3 to 4 cans every night to deliver. Usually I would start at 1am have all 4 dropped in their respective doors by 4am, self stamped the bills (per customers instructions) and was back in the yard hooking to my short hual and on the road before 4:30am. We did that for 3 months, I loved it, then Kraft bought out Nabisco, they hired an extra driver and changed the routes eliminating the need for an outside contractor. So now, it depends on the frieght volume, my preference is to start between 2 am and 4 am, then it's a 10 to 13 hr day depending on whats needed.
