I passed the hazmat test but they told me that it's only good in florida where I live. If I moveto a different state I will have to retake the test again unless I drive with myFlorida license. True?

If you had the background check that should be good anywhwre but many states require taking the written test when transferring a CDL
-
Yeah Rick I thought about that but I think they would require a recent backgroung check.
-
When I moved to CO from TX, I had just renewed my TX CDL with hazmat. When I switched to CO CDL, I was told that I would have to go through the background check all over again if I wanted to keep Hazmat. I even had my clearance letter from TSA less than 30 days old, No go, what a racket.
