Hi My partner and I are just about completely done getting everything set up..LLC,truck,trailers,insurance etc. He has driving experience, I have my class A and worked driving agricultural (on farms) for a few months. My question is that now we are ready to go are there any lack of experience rules, policies that will stop us (particularly me) from being given loads?Any replies from drivers who have been through this stage will help. Thanks, Jerry.
Can we get loads???

Some brokers want your MC # to be a year old. Also, know your rates and lanes, or you will get walked on.

Personally I think you should have thought this through a little better. Getting your license and learning to drive is the easy part. Brokers are going to see you coming from a long way away!
TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
If you're willing to haul cheap enough, you'll secure loads. The cheap brokered freight is "held especially" for the new guys desperate to make their first batch of payments and notes. But don't expect to be first in line to be paid. Good luck is all I can say.

Are you driving team with the partner?
For those with knowledge, would it help to promote the team member with more experience to help get the loads?
