I think xxxxxxxxxxxx Freight is Hiring, You pay them $1,100 a week to pull a red wagon around for 3 years from Your last ticket. Then they might let you ride a bicycle.

Hire a lawyer that specializes in removing points from your record. It will cost you but I have heard of drivers that have done this and saved their jobs.

There sure are a lot of self righteous driving angels around here but they are right about the content of their posts. You need to get your priorities on track if you want to be a PROFESSIONAL DRIVER. Oh and a good radar detector won't hurt either.

I know this an old post but if you want to be a professional driver you need to change your habits. Since the csa 2010 has kicked in many states don't allow ticket deferrals for cdl holders anymore. And as far as radar detectors go they are illegal in commercial vehicles. Johnny Law has radar detector detectors nowadays and having one in the cab will get you in more trouble than a speeding ticket. Bottom line you got to teach yourself new habbits. Most all trucks have cruise nowadays set it a reasonable speed it well help you break your bad habbit. As far as your original question checking your mvr is required to hire you by the law and insurance companies.

I will say, you are the one responsible for your own actions. With that being said, I think some people were pretty harsh in their words. We have all made mistakes, and if the OP can atone for them and clean up his act, more power to him.

Looks like bottom feeder company for you,, I mean bottom bottom feeder.

Actually,, alot of the companies look at the "amount of speed over the legal speed limit" and not the tickets themselves.

If you've gotten a cpl with 15+ over the speed limit,, good luck finding anyone that will hire you,, but if they are less, then they may decide to hire you.
