So many ads for hiring drivers with 1 or 2 years experience. Are the drivers changing jobs 'cause the companies are bad or the other way around? If either one is the case then whats the point?
Whats the point?

Insurance rats will be cheaper than a rookie plus they know they can handle driving a truck. Most rookies cant drive for extended periods of time without attempting it.

[h=1]From the article - Driver Turnover Is Up Above 100%[/h]Due to the way many of these companies pay their recruiters, it is more profitable (for the recruiters, not the companies) to focus on hiring new drivers rather than taking care of and retaining current drivers.
This cannot be true since just about every one is looking for at least 1 or more years experience. -
Drivers think the grass is greener on the other side and only find weeds. Many times drivers do quit because low miles and poor pay. They see websites that really glamour up their company. There's always strings attached.Trucking is trucking and it takes thick skin to succeed.
