In the classes they will talk about prime policy, insurance, elogs, general hazmat, driving technique, and a few I forget. When you are out of class you are expected to study the drivers handbook in preperation for the permit tests. The tests are multiple guess and if you have been paying attention it should be fairly easy. I wouldn't worry much about it.

If at all possible, have your Class A CDL permit in hand from your home state when you show up in Springfield. It may cost a bit more than the MO permit, but it will be one (big) thing less to worry about.

It used to be more common, but yeah. That's why there's a very extensive background check, the multiple apps (on line, and in pen and ink) - the liability to the carriers is huge if one of these azzhats slips through and manages to kill someone in an accident.

Going to do my upgrade soon and I'm curious about the prostar cute trucks if anybody is driving one out there can u post some pics of the sleeper? I know I'm more than likely to get a cascadia but I'm just curious as they are some sweet looking trucks, also my trainer tells me I only get my 600 guarantee while I'm training and once I do my a seat upgrade I no longer receive a guarantee can someone tell me if this bunk? Hopefully lol

I have the micro Pro Star, and I love it(for an extra .05/mile). It has more room, and cabinet space than the small Cascadia, and I like the windows in the back. It also has the Macforce, so I don't have to worry about DEF. The little Petes, look the best on the outside, but unless your only 5' tall, you can't stand up in them.

As long as know how to run, and you get a good FM, you will make a lot more than $600/week.
