When I grew up in the 80s my dad started his trucking company with a truck just like this the top was white red stripe in the middle and a blue bottom I think its a 70s model but I cannot find the model I also think its a white freightliner I been looking for one to restore I just happen to come across this one but it had no information but this truck was what I learned to drive on and started everything my dad accomplished any information would be great

It looks like late 70's to me. Man, in the early 90's you couldn't give these trucks away ! Now, it seems like there is a growing demand for them. I hated them, climbing up over that wheel and the bucking going down the road. I guess now I wish I would have bought a few when they were dirt cheap though. Should have figured when they all disappeared people would want them again.

looks like a White Freightliner somewhere between a 72-74 model. My dad had one like that and the steps to get into the truck are just like he had on his truck.

Since that is a White Freightliner I believe the last year they built any trucks under that name was 74' so i'm guessing a 73'-74'

'74 was the last year for "White" freightliners, although some later years still carried the later marque. Also most '74's had the ladder steps, the one in the pic has the stirrup. Also, looks like this one has the two piece grill, and larger Marque, which came out in '71, I think. Cab handles look like they're '72 or newer; so I'd go with '72 or '73. Good Luck!

I would say '68 to '72,later style had different steps, different nameplate.
