    Thanks Flood.
What kind of pay does a driver get for driving for a O/O .... Have you ever heard of someone driving for a O/O and keeping the pay in the O/O name, because of taxes or already being retired and not wanting to mess that up ? ..Did you guys get a loan from a bank ? Thanks for coming back to this . Be safe....

Someday we will make it Texas. Came out of hometime and repowered a load in Rawlins WY heading to West Sacramento (they said they had a load from NoCal to Texas) In Nevada we got a repower in Winemucca heading to Charlotte NC. Called in and they said they would find us a repower today heading to Texas. Nope, I guess we will deliver this load and they SAY there is a load from NC to Laredo tomorrow. LOL, we will see but I have to say confidence is not high.

What is a repower ? And when you get to TX, if my son is still home give us a call and maybe we can do lunch and talk about what not to do as a trucker - lol. He came home after orientation and is waiting on the drug test to come back,-- He asked to go to flatbed

Repower is when say a driver or Team run out of hours, and you have plenty.. Their load is about to run out of time and become late, so they (USX) look for someone closer to switch or take over someone elses load so that it can be delivered on time.

Why is he waiting the results of the Drug Test?? Normally they have those results very quickly???

    Thanks HD.
He has had a problem with a nerve that is somehow inline with his bladder/urine track. since he was a kid, Called --lower flank pain syndrome, most children under the age of teenager die from it. its rare and seldom known, so before he went to orientation ,he told swift and had to get extra paper work signed from his doctor. That is why were thinking of the hold up .

Well, as I suspected, the load to Texas does not exist. We are going to take showers and give them a couple of hours. If no load appears, we may just drop this truck off in Lexington and rent us a car to drive to Irving. Have not decided yet because it would be a pain but I do not want to just sit here

Well, we got a load from North Carolina to Calexico CA. Right through Dallas. The whole purpose was to get us to Irving so we drove and picked up the One Diesel engine. Yep, one pallet. Pretty funny. How can they afford to use a whole truck and trailer for a 2600 mile run? Anyway, we arrived in Irving this evening and............no drop number. So.....we dropped it anyway and sent in macro 15. Get a call from the night fleet manager asking what we are doing. I explained the situation and he had me talk to the load planner. He laughed and said he would find a way to take care of it. Anyone sitting in Texas that wants an easy 1200 mile run with a whole 1990 pounds?

Sitting next to our new truck and love it. Moving day tomorrow.

    wulfman75 Thanks this.
