This computer is a Toshiba L455D-S5976 and the one before this was an HP but I can't remember the model. What I run into continually is for example the first video that I posted in this thread I could here just fine, even turned the volume down a tad, the video that danc694u posted I could not hear even though I turned the volume back to 100%. I ran in to this with both laptops, this Toshiba is probably three years old, it has windows seven. I don't know if it is my machine or if they didn't record the video very loud maybe, but if everyone else was able to hear that one okay, then it must be something wrong with my machine, I can never remember it when the grandkids are over, they seem to always find a way to play their music really loud, so I figured they could show me what I am doing wrong on this thing, I just always forget when they are here. I know what you are talking about with yours, our desktop is like that, if you turned the volume button up on the speaker it would cause the neighbors blood pressure to get up above the DOT standards.

This sentence was located in the 15th paragraph of a news story (released 3 hours ago) DENYING the allegations from Long Island. Emphasis mine.
