This computer is a Toshiba L455D-S5976 and the one before this was an HP but I can't remember the model. What I run into continually is for example the first video that I posted in this thread I could here just fine, even turned the volume down a tad, the video that danc694u posted I could not hear even though I turned the volume back to 100%. I ran in to this with both laptops, this Toshiba is probably three years old, it has windows seven. I don't know if it is my machine or if they didn't record the video very loud maybe, but if everyone else was able to hear that one okay, then it must be something wrong with my machine, I can never remember it when the grandkids are over, they seem to always find a way to play their music really loud, so I figured they could show me what I am doing wrong on this thing, I just always forget when they are here. I know what you are talking about with yours, our desktop is like that, if you turned the volume button up on the speaker it would cause the neighbors blood pressure to get up above the DOT standards.

There were actually 3 videos. Two of which didn't get posted, those videos had been scrubbed from their sites. And a watered down story had been posted in place of the original byline.

"Officials" are quickly recanting their earlier claims and public statements.

The "back track" began 3 days ago. After this story broke. Easy to see why they had to scramble and cover their ###.

Very little follow up is occurring now. Other than trying to put out a s### storm, before the locals go all ninja on their sorry ####.

This sentence was located in the 15th paragraph of a news story (released 3 hours ago) DENYING the allegations from Long Island. Emphasis mine.

It's easy to get a politician to change his story. Not so easy to get an individual with ZERO political ambitions to change his.

Much as I hate to say this, if the grandkids are getting decent volume out of the machine and you're not it sounds like a user error. Did you mouse over to the speaker icon on your desktop and click there, then increase the volume slider on the window that opened?

Yes and the desktop also had a knob on the speaker that you could turn up as well, the laptops only have the speaker icon. The grandkids don't use my laptop for their music, I was refering to all the other contraptions that they use with their music, my point was they pick up the technology faster than I do, my wife and I are always having them help us with our cell phones. They seem to pick that type of thing up so easy. When I was their age the maximum amount of brain power that I needed to exert was to operate the AM radio.

That's pretty much all you can do. I here there is another storm coming this evening, but if you've got the tarp fastened down you should be okay. That is pretty good that your neighbor is a contractor, and that he is indeed a neighbor to you, to watch out for your interests while you are gone.

already put a tarp on the roof and 4 sheets of plywood he had in his garage
waiting on the adjuster and power on our street
