I can. It really depends on the company you are going to work for. Some carries insurance companies might not want to insure a driver taking it. The problem with Xanax is it tends to make you sleepy, it is also very habit forming. If you really need it don't stop taking it. Just be up front with your prospective employer and go from there.

 

Yes be up front with possible employers and tell them when taking a drug test that you are on the medication.

 

You are the same one who posted about tha Xanax right? This medication will disqualify you since you are taking it with the Xanax.

 

Some companies won't allow any driver to drive if they have a sleep disorder. If you can provide a note from your physician testifying that this medication doesn't adversely affect you, it'd be a good thing to have.

I doubt you can get a doctor to certify you to drive.Both drugs,restoril"tamazepam" and xanax"alprazolam" have alot of side effects that could effect your driving ability.They both fall in the catagory of benzodiazepines.Some are used for anxiety and some for sleep disorders but they can apply to other ailments as well.They both are strong and they both are classed as central nervous system depressants.Under FMCSA guidelines you could well be classed as having a neurological disorder and not be certified to drive.Drug interactions are common with both including over the counter medications so don't be afraid to ask your doctor.On the bright side,anxiety can be relieved by life style change and sleep disorder by diet and also lifestyle change.There are clinic's for both.Always get that second opinion and see how you might be able to go on med free.Last thing,any information concerning your health is between you and your healthcare provider.Your future employer or employer has no right to this information under law,other that you are qualifyed to drive by issuing a medical card.
