Always best if the TND is in warranty to use the Rand Support for an RMA.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I called support today and i have 4 days left on warranty, I also tried what you said to try and im doing the 3 hour charge. I was told they normally extend the warranty out for an extra 6 months so i can send it in (thank god). I like the rand GPS but holy crap they have soooooooo many problems, I had a 510 and after 5 months the sound stopped working so i sold it and let the next guy deal with support. Now this, yeah its a year old but for a $400 item it should last longer.

They (rand support) need to offer a replacement or something while we have to wait for repairs, I dont want to have to route plan with the #### atlas for 2 weeks.

    700 series .... 710-047159-EL-12W13 V 3.4 .... Purchased 05/04/12 -

Put it back in the box and stored it, notice now that the power light is back on,
however it got hot enough at the power supply to not allow a charge before I put it away

Correction - power supply light on plugged into laptop - zilch from a wall outlet

Well thought I'd run another scan on a 510 unit - first scan had the result of no issues / problems (corrupt files) ..

second scan produced one issue in need of repair.. will ask questions - post results once repair and road tests are done on this attempt

Hi Mark, My dock version is 1.0.4693.20239

Also, I have been running into some very strange issues with my GPS. I have had issues where before it would route me correctly, but now it is wanting to route me way out of route. I am also having issues where routes I normally travel are now saying that it is unable to find a legal route. I have tried resetting my GPS multiple times and it is still acting up. Any ideas?

    Thanks Mark

Go ahead and let me know the file in question. There is a minor issue with one or two files in a CRC count, but it does not affect the operation of the Files or the TND.

    Thanks,
    Mark
