Anybody know this dude?

Here's where I beg to differ with you. And here's why...

We were coming from Independence KS, to Pueblo CO, westbound on the 70. We had to stop for fuel in Goodland KS. (Will NEVER stop there again, by the way!) We got fuel, and hubby got the receipt from the teenage girl at the counter. I got a few things, soda, shops etc... paid for them, got my receipt and left.

We got just across the Colorado line when a Kansas State trooper comes up behind us, lights and sirens. So hubby pulls over. And is facing the business end of a 9mm. This Trooper first seems to belive that Guys can crawl out ot that rig, with his hands in the air! Then immediately starts DEMANDING to know why he did it! (Did WHAT??) Before I know what end is up, this cop has my hubby in handcuffs, in the back of a cruiser, and read his rights! And so far we have NO IDEA what is going on!

When the officer finally starting to demand answers of me, I demanded to know just what I was being accused of before I said another word!

To make a long story short, he left me in the truck after telling me that my hubby had just stolen $560 in fuel from this little station in Goodland! And would not even look at the receipt!

We sat alongside that damnable highway for nearly 2 hours! And in the end, it was a mistake back at the station! My hubby ended up with a 9mm pointed at him because some teeney bopper made a MISTAKE!

It took me QualComming dispatch and getting Co troopers, and DOT officers out there to get it all fixed! Because the Kansas trooper was going to leave me sitting there while he hauled my hubby in!

No, I have little faith and no trust in most police.

 

Good cops have no use for loser cops, and neither do I.

File a complaint against this clown or a lawsuit.

 

By the time all was said and done, the trooper lost his job, as did the girl in the store. But it did very little to change my opinion. I've been with him several times since then when they do that safety blitz thing, and when I see those lights, I think I nearly die! We've even had a trooper pull us over to tell us the bridge just a few miles ahead was washed out, and my nerves still can't handle it! It's a scary thing to have to sit there, an you are totally helpless.

 

Do you know any cops on a personal level?

I do, I've ate with them, hunted with them, shot at the range with them.
It means a lot to me in the trust department that a cop will allow some else to be around them with a gun.

I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with a loser. So have I, but I have other experiences to far more than balance the bad ones out.

 

Oh yes, I know alot of the local law enforcement! Coffee at the Barn was a regular weekday thing! Please don't get me wrong! I know these guys, and I LOVE them! One of my best friends is a police dispatcher, and another is a corrections officer.

It's just when I get out of the LOCAL area that they make me panicky! It's the ones I don't know that I cannot bring myself to trust!
