    Idk...

These things are pretty sketchy. Yeah I get that it's eye to the sky aluminum coils and chains will destroy it but I don't think they are secured enough with just 3 straps over each. That is my opinion though, almost every driver I see hauling them uses three straps... I can't say much I did haul it this last time with 3 over each. But I didn't like it so I will go back to my normal method.

I also saw TMC hauling suicide coils from Logan but only using three straps through the center ! I mean Logan wouldn't allow him to chain is what he told me, I just said then you wouldn't see it pulled by me.

Gary, IN. Sleep for the night. They had some 300 mile Georgetown but I talked them into a 700 mile run. Sup! (Well my cool #### business partner did. I really like working with this guy)

don't forget the heel and toe straps. with one coil, you can use friction mats or a bulkhead to prevent forward motion, but with two coils, you legally have to have two tiedowns at the base, front and rear.

Yeah they try to tell you that you can't do it now. I won't roll out of there without them.

The shipper I just loaded at put a 7000 pound shotgun palletized coil on trailer (in row with a few eye to sky and the suicide I already had from first stop) I asked him to put it suicide but he couldn't because of pallet. Then he says just throw a strap or two over it, will be fine.

I didn't of course I put two straps over and x chained it through eye. (Had to move a bit of plastic but I'm not rolling without it secured right).

watched one of Roehls L/O's get pulled over on the turn pike by one of Ohio's finest....just after we got out of a construction zone....he wasn't speeding.....the trooper got beside him for like 10 seconds then flipped on the Disco lights and pulled him over....I bet it was a cellphone violation.....Rick's not gonna like that fine...cause its double in construction zones......ouch

Bad day? I'd say more if its phone. Also they aren't kidding about noon Friday cutoff for turning in paperwork. I got one in at 12:24 last Friday and did it at Dallas (Grand Prairie) not on this weeks statement.
