With 24 minutes left on the clock. The Rolling just had to stop More Rollin More later. 1260 miles to go to pay dirt. So we will see how many of those miles we can knock out after this 10 hr Break. We beakkk quiet

Tucumcari, New Mexico is where we laying our head. Hoping to be @ the Receiver Sat. Night. If all goes well a fresh 70 hours to roll by the time they unload.

 

Woke up at 7 hours into my sleeper birth time. Tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. So at the 8 Hour mark I had about 2 hours and 40 something mins I could drive. So I hit the road jack. Well at the 17 minutes remaining mark. I hit the 187 exit on I40. Edgewood, New Mexico. There's a DQ with truck parking. A little dusty but not to bad. So I'll sit here for 2 hours and then finish up the rest of my drive time. Think it will be about 9 hours. When you get as old as me. (37) Those 11 hour days are hard to do when you cruising at 62.7mph. Not sure whats up with my fuel mileage. Can't seem to get over 6 on this trip. I know it drops in the winter months but this is ridiculous. Guess I won't be seeing a fuel bonus check for this month if old betsy don't improve. Anyway time to get in the Good word. You guys be safe and will be back on the road with Kingman, Arizona in our scope cross hairs for the night. 1113 to go and may the Good Lord be with me every step of the way. We back quiet.

 

Well I was wrong only 8hr and 36 mins to drive. Oh well time to hit the road. Still have Kingman in the Cross hairs.

 

Well made it to Kingman Arizona. Still have 44 minutes I can drive. Would be able to make it to needles. But need to wash clothes at the TA. So I'll park it here for the night. Just trying to figure out should I do laundry now or in the morning. I'm thinking I should do it now, because I'll be ready to roll in the morning and it won't get done for a few more days so. Better get off here and do some laundry. 615 miles left to receiver. Should knock that out tomorrow with 9 or 10 hours still left on the 70. Will go ahead and do a restart. So by the time Monday morning comes around. I'll be able to rock n roll. Have a great weekend and God bless.

 

Woohoo. Made it to destination with 4 minutes left on the 11. Traffic and doing 55-60 mph killed my time, but its all good. I have to give a shout to Johnny Manziel for winning the Heisman. He and I went and played football at the same school. Of course he is a fewwwww years behind me. Tivy fight never dies baby. Going to take my 34 and see what happens Monday. Not preplanned yet. That's not a good sign. Thought I might be by today, but didn't work out that way. So we will see. Here's my miles for the week not a bad week. Still have 9 hours and 39minutes remaining on the 70. Fresh 70 and I get to do a local run. Yippie. But oh well another day at the office. Hope I get an LA run Tmrw which can put me over the 2500 mark. This load will put me at 2314 for the week. Wednesday Midnight is the cut off. So we will see what happens.

 

Knocked out my little run for the day took me from I think its 10am mountain time to close to 9pm to get back in the same parking space I had for the weekend. Think I'm going to walk down the street and get me and In and Out burger. Had some good Chinese food earlier while waiting at Americold. That's another thing I like about Google maps is scoping out the Chinese food places in the strip centers. Now that's trip planning. Have a good night. Still not pre-planned. So probably will be twiddling my fingers again.

Even though it took all that time. I only logged 3 hours 26mins driving and 35 mins on duty and the rest of the time was sleeper birth. Anyway guess I'll go see if the in and out is all that is cracked up to be. Its a good walk so it better be worth it. Have a good night and God bless.

 

G day folks. The In and out burger was pretty good. Nothing to write home to mom about. I still think Whataburger has the best burgers. Anyway Got pre-planned before I got empty. Picking up here where I unloaded going to Bakersfield, CA. Was hoping for a short one that would put me over 2500 and that's what I got. I was also Pre-planned on a load after that one. So Here goes the details.

Made it to Bakersfield, CA. I like this stop because its right across from the truck stop. I can see the docks from here. Only bad part is some of the dry freight guys have to blind side in and not much room. Last Time I helped a guy get in and the guy whose truck the guy was going to hit didn't even bother to get out and help the guy back in. Anyway will see what adventure awaits tomorrow. It's almost 2am Central time and I just pulled into the loves in Cedar City, Utah. Had a pretty good and long day. Traffic wasn't too too bad in LA. Left pickup right at about 3pm pacific time. Had a few slow downs but nothing like the 5 o clock traffic jams in LA. Also was Pre-planned on my next load after this one. The dates are a lil jacked up but made a call to see if we can get this done my way. Will know hopefully by next week. Here goes next pre-plan.

Deliver Chester NY 12/20/12 no apt time. Going to try to see if we can get that one off Wednesday 12/19/12.

If not load may be sitting in Souderton, PA letting somebody else deal with that. Set home time for the 22nd at 10pm. So that Saturday night I would like to be home, but probably won't get home till Monday or Tuesday if I'm lucky. Coming from that area in NE. But you never know. So hopefully it all works out.
