I've been driving for 7 years. I just got off the phone with a TMC recruiter who said my file was going over to the hiring manage for review. He offered a Texas regional position goin from Houston to West Texas hauling mainly pipe with backhauls to Dallas or Houston with building materials...home every weekend. Does anyone have any up to date info on TMC from a driver's point of view? Every company has the good, bad, and ugly...I don't really get caught up in all of that. All I want are miles and sound equipment. Any info is appreciated.
Looking to go with TMC

I`m gonna assume you already have flatbed exp. Living in houston I will further assume you are familliar with houston pipeyards
Good:
Basicaly like recruiter said, pipe to midland area, pop over to Rotan for pre-loaded trailer to Dallas or houston area. then repeat. Your hometime will be good where you live. Actual work is not bad. Miles can be very good if you hustle.
Bad:
Delays at pipe yards and ocasinaly Rotan are common. Not from TMC so much, but theyre not perfect either. That`s the main reason people get frustrated and leave. Staying in TX all week and near home can come at a price. Losing sleep to compensate for delays and make money is a price some won`t do.
It`s great to basicaly stay in state and near home all week, Home every weekend and during week sometimes is true. Tough gig though.TX_Redd Thanks this.
