    Hello Guys

I'm in the process of a design of a new concept of Driving Lights for different types of industries.
I find there is no better people to ask than the people that use these "Everyday" such as yourselves.

Transport and Truck Lights: Your thoughts!

What are the problems with modern lights these days?
    Can they be improved?
What would you like to be changed?
Are the 100W HID's "TOO BRIGHT" for the open road guide post reflectors, Signage etc?
What is the best side distance to spot Roo's etc?

Any thoughts or ideas that you may have would be appreciated.

The name of the game is safety.

    Thanks for your time.

    Matthew.

most problems are the idiots who drive with their high beams on. If you could fix that it would be great

And not too many 'roo's' in this part of the world. However plenty of forests rat.
And if anybody wants to hear from the nigerian prince with millions to hide in your bank account or be notified of the lottery you've just won that you never entered, send the guy above an e-mail.
    Just saying....

Lightforce makes great aux lighting... check them out for ideas since they are very popular in the heavy duty truck sector.

the problem with auxilary(driving/fog) lights is that people use them to supplement their headlights which is what highbeams do. People dim their high beams but not their after market lights. Why is it that factory installed fog lights never bother me but most(I wanted to say all) the self installed lights are annoying- probably because they are aimed up in my eyes.

I wish there were a law that required the diming of ALL lights so that you only have your lowbeam headlights when in traffic.

yep, I've gotten flashed by auxilary lights also. Most people don't install them correctly and they end up at our eyes instead of low along the road.

    Hello Gentlemen

Thanks for the replies. Totally agree with the Fog Light issues.

raverez097: It is legit believe me and thanks for your second post clearing up any fears about the legitimacy.

Yes, Lightforce are a great product indeed. Can they be improved though? (Strength of housing etc?)

We have 75W 240mm HID at the moment and they sure do send out a nice beam indeed. I have yet to try the 100w HID's though?
