There's no exaggeration in my statement, my specific incident with Werner was a side note, hence the parenthesis. If I had wanted to make a point about Werner banging into me, I would've used a period followed by a space.

Facts to facts, swift causes a lot of problems on the road by not making common sense choices and the drivers are typically unsavory folks that got ground out by a driver mill.

Here's an example of an application for employment with swift "can you read and speak English? can you pass a dot physical. Well hell boy! Come on up!"

Hotshotting is local, LTL but usually done with a privately owned straight truck. I did it for a little while. You arrange you own loads, service your own customers, keep your own books etc. Its like trucking but on a really small and local scale...

Voted for JBHunt as I have experience with them and Swift and not the others but from what I hear over a few years of driving I am surprised CRE is so low.

Conway Truckload is one of the worst.. $450.00- $700.00 a week to work 100 hours a week. Stay away!! BTW, this is being written by a former driver with a perfect driving and delivery record and rarely taking any home time. Forget what the recruiters tell you. This company pays poverty wages.. regardless of how good you think you are.

Let me give it a shot. here's the usual complaints about USX.

    1. Have to team with an equally clueless rookie after training

    2. If you go solo after your mandatory teaming period I hope you like cup-o-noodles because you won't be getting many miles.

    3. The usual bang your head against a wall inertia most big companies have.

    4. If you have any hiccups at orientation you be escorted to the front gate and left to fend for yourself for a ride home.

Now if your going to drive team or want to be a trainer they can be a decent place to work for. 3 and 4 still apply though.
