    710 - lightly squeeze the USB end of the DC cord to provide a more snug fit. If you are within a year of your purchase call Rand Support and let them know you are having DC cord issues. They should send you a new DC Cord.

    Adam, I had this issue with my 510 and Mark suggested...

    Plug it into a wall socket and allow it to charge for a minimum of 12 hours, 24hrs would be best.. Cigarette lighters, laptops or plugged into inverters don't work in cases like what you're going through.

    It's worked for me on a couple of occasions.

    720, purchased from you. I'm also afraid that in the midst of turning our current primary residence into a rental in preparation for a move, I may have also misplaced the copy of the receipt sent with the unit. Oy vey......now where are my shoes????........

    A. - Don't worry about the Lifetime Maps. You said that you mailed in the receipt and the LTM coupon, so your unit will be in their registry. You're covered.

    B. - Does not matter if you lost the proof of purchase since you got it from us. Any time you need another copy, or any problem with lifetime maps registration, just PM me or call us.

    If you have Dock version 1.0.4721.16210 then is is Win8 ready.

    If you have the above version and the Dock does not see the device, then restart the Dock. You can go to your start up tray (lower right on your computer screen) and find the blue/white looking snowball. Right click and then left click on exit. Go to your start up menu to find the Dock program and restart.
