so I knew 1 day it would eventually happen, that is what they get for me telling them that I am absolutely out of fuel and the dipstick is below the first mark and they give me a fuel stop 120 miles away. I am surprised I even made it to the exit and right when I was starting to think okay maybe I am going to make it that's when the truck said "you wanna bet"
-
no , i would go for full size. i mean if your going for the brass ring it may as will be a brass nipple one.

blue, like the song goes never try to out smart your common sense. next time tell those chuckle heads you need a po for fuel or you will not run.

well there goes all the pennies they tried to save now being used to send a truck out to me
Paloma Thanks this. -
One time on a weekend, Sharla (Denver dispatcher) gave me three 25 gallon dispatches in a row! LOL!
One of them was even out of route!
A friend of mine who still works there told me they received a 10 gallon dispatch one time and had to drive 30 miles out of route to get it!!! LOL!
The reason the weekend dispatchers do it is because they don't want to get yelled at on Monday morning by Brad the fuel czar at May Trucking for dispatching fuel on a truck at an "unapproved" location.
If they keep giving you smaller fuel dispatches, they stay under radar and the wrath of Brad. It is one of the most absolutely dumbest business practices I ever witnessed when I was there. -
i forgot today was saturday.... i cant wait for my next hometime it feels like its been forever
im still sitting on the side of the road too
and sometimes the replies from breakdown are just out there... i said the truck wont turn over, im not a mechanic, to me that just means it wont turn on but it will try to (still cranking but just no go), they said well if you are out of fuel that wouldnt prevent the truck from cranking... i was soo tempted to say ok heres the deal.... the truck go kakakakakaka, but no go vroom vroom
and yeah i remember sharla, she was my dm after vicki left... after getting used to her i loved having her as my dm, she always made sure i had what i needed and if I had an issue she took care of it quicklyLast edited: Dec 29, 2012

When I was at May .. I had a trailer tire blow out .. Breakdown asked me what was the oil level .. I replied with "totally empty, why?". Well, they freaked and yelled at me (thru the Qualcomm) about how i need to take responsibility and so on .. I replied "i didn't know I was supposed to check the oil level". Then they went ballistic on me.
so I called them on the phone .. Told them I was not a mechanic. Then i asked "where do I check the oil level of a trailer tire?"
Yes, after that I had another meeting with Boyd Bucket .. Another complete Moron.FXDLTRUCKA98 Thanks this.
