Safestat has nothing to do with anything. Who cares? I drive for TMC. Our safestat is rediculous, that has -nothing- to do with me. If other drivers want to run illegal, or roll trucks, that's their problem.

When you see a high SEA score on a carrier it is a sign that something is wrong.

If they have a high driver SEA it is an indication that dispatch pressures the drivers to run over hours or holds them to unrealistic delivery times.

This says to me that they train the noobs to falsify log books. And why would a driver need to falsify his log book?????????????????

It couldn't be so he could run for more hours than the law and common sense allow. Could it????

I wouldn't necessarily suggest Wabash Valley Transport. My hubby just quit with them because he was only bringing home about $250 to $300 a week. He was running the dump division but he had talked to some of the flatbed drivers and they all said it don't pay jack either. Plus if you do flatbed you have to park your truck at the Lafayette terminal. You can't take it home with you. And the dispatch there is a clusterfluck. My husband could have worked new years week because they had loads but the dispatcher just conveniently didn't tell him that. There was a construction place ten miles from where we live that needed three trucks a day to run two or three loads each for all three days after new years and dispatch didn't even give it to him till that Friday. They called him at like 11 am finally and said oh we've got a load from Clinton. He'd been calling them every morning and saying he was available and waiting. Bunch of idiots. When he turned his truck in this past Friday, his dispatcher knew it but didn't even put it in the system. Hubby showed up at the Remington terminal where they told him to take the truck and they were surprised to see him. Duh.
