    well i just called kenans headquarters and spoke to a lady in safety. I asked her if there is an additional pre work screen along with the regular dot physical and drug screen. She told me they used to do it and practically everybody passed so they dont do it anymore. Just the regular ole drug test and physical. She said they were not getting any real return on the prework screen...so i guess thats a good thing lol

    Called the shop:

    Truck is being worked on right now. Tech is on the phone with Detroit Diesel troubleshooting the CEL for Predictive Cruise Control.

    Called Maverick Recruiter:

    They have all the needed info now from SNI. My app is in the final approval process. I should have an answer by the end of the day.

    After pulling my own MVR and PSP reports online I can't see any reason why they'd say no. I have a totally clean driving history and even that speeding ticket that I supposedly got last year isn't showing up. Either SNI fought it or they just paid it and never reported that I was the driver. Either way I should get the job.

    Called my DBL:

    He understands where I'm coming from and that SNI can't offer the kind of position I'm looking for. Told him that if the truck wasn't ready tomorrow and I hadn't heard back from Maverick I would take a loaner and run local for a few days until either my truck was ready or the new job had come through.

    Hopefully by the end of the day I will have my orientation scheduled. I'm really hoping they still have room on Monday for me to go down. It's only about a 12 hour drive from where I am so it shouldn't be too bad.

    Even thought i don't post much here.. i check this thread daily, from what i'm reading everyone who post on here is leaving SNI. This thread is going to be dead in a couple of months.

    I just put a new CB in my Pickup. Still trying to get it tuned. It's a pain in the ### trying to tune antennas when it's 10 degrees outside.
