My last truck was 61405! Good chance we crossed paths more than once while you had that truck...I was always on the lookout for any of my former tractors, and I remember thinking "Hmmm...that's a close one!".

My first one was 45526. Orange Century with a mismatched hood.

My second truck was 67099. Silver 2013 Cascadia.

I actually got to meet the guy who got 45526 after me. I was in the yard one night installing my TV mount. Him and another guy had just arrived from Green Bay after orientation to look at their trucks. I then saw it again in the Gary yard one morning parked in the way of the crew working on fixing the holes on the ground.

I was at the Atlanta OC once, and my second truck (46547) was there. Driver was in it, so I asked him if they ever fixed the hesitation in it. He told me he wasn't sure...he had just recovered it from some driver who had wrecked it...basically had most of the front end replaced after it plowed into a snowbank.

First one was 44748. Good truck. 61405 was good, too. Got it new.

you'll need to have a certain time in fo rcompliance with DOT. So initially if your machine is capable they will have a wifi thing set up on it to ensure compliance. Then every month you'll send the data in through email to the company we use. Once you establish compliance at a year it becomes a yearly data collection.

One little tip I learned though. Remove the data card until its time to upload the data. then insert it and wait for data copy. EVERY time you unplug the machine the data gets transfered/stored on the card. OVer and over and over again. They only need the current usage. It will make it easier to email it in.

I told a new driver at the OC that SNI requires you to wave at other SNI trucks to let them know you aren't under duress....if you don't wave, the other truck may call SNI and let them know....:biggrin_25522:<evil grin>

Be careful driver, it's a lot to deal with and pay for. Do you have at least $15,000 saved up just for capital expenses?
