I'm on Kraft dedicated, so if I downright refuse I risk being put back on the general fleet. Fortuanately this was not a Kraft load so my dm was more than happy to pull it and give me something else when he found out how awful it was.

I was thinking about training before, but between the awful trainees you guys have been getting and the fact you only got 4k miles to deal with these slouches, I'm not so sure. It really is a lot more work to train, and a lot less quality sleep.

not all of them are bad. The guy I have now is driving the truck better than most students do after 3 weeks. Oh yeah this is his first week. We laid down 4965 miles this past week, that's not to shabby for a week one trainee. He's never driven before but he went to a community school and took a truck driving class instead of centrals school.

Got my truck last night, a white cascadia with 45k miles. Since I got to Fontana so late (took me two hours longer than normal to get here due to weather and traffic) they told me I might not get a load till Saturday. I was fine with that, spent all night moving a ton of junk from my car to the truck in the back of the lot in the rain. Then I went over to the TA and blew $350 on my atlas, a GPS, and a power converter. Still got to buy s CB, fridge, microwave, and Bluetooth. Oi this is going to be an expensive month.

remember with that power inverter to either YOU install and put the heavy duty fuse right near the batteries, or have it professionally done. In Fontana we had ours done at the CB shop at the truck stop off Cherry... North side of 10... Can't remember the name of it though...sorry. VERY important to have it installed correctly, or you can be looking at a major fire!!
