Benazir Bhutto Wounded in Homicide Attack

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan Opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was undergoing surgery Thursday after she was wounded in a homicide attack that killed at least 20 other people, a party aide said.
Sen. Safdar Abbasi said Bhutto was hit in the bomb blast and was in serious condition.
"BB is serious and she is in the operating theater," Abbasi said. Other top party leaders were at the Rawalpindi General Hospital, crying.
The bomber attacked the former prime minister's supporters as they were leaving a rally.

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan ' Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was assassinated Thursday in a homicide attack that also killed at least 20 others at a campaign rally.
Bhutto was shot in the neck and chest as she was entering her vehicle, and then the bomber blew himself up, FOX News has confirmed.
The former prime minister died in Rawalpindi General Hospital, where she had been rushed to surgery. She was 54.
"At 6:16 p.m. she expired," said Wasif Ali Khan, a member of Bhutto's party who was at the hospital.

Her supporters are blaming Musharif, I wonder what kind of violence and rioting this will cause?

That will be interesting to see Brickman. Musharif has already angered so many over there this could be the straw.

She definitely knew the risks when she took them. This will probably make her a martyr for her followers.

Its a safe bet that the 20 to 25 killed in this attack are not going to be the only deaths today and the rest of the week.

Those folks over there haven't gotten far enough out of the cave man mentality to operate any other way.

It was just reported that a 15 year boy would-be suicide bomber was arrested just yesterday near wherever she was before he could blow himself up.
That sounds like Al Qaeda.
