Got the big 19 mile load done (400 mile deadhead with it to be fair) and now in Gardena waiting to get loaded going to Schertz, I asked politely if I can get it T-called in Phoenix. We'll see. Sucks about your truck Mystikal, don't turn it off! I had to pull a ditch move on a lonestar driver I accidentally ran across in my deadhead from SF to LA. He literally embarrassed me (hard to do) on the radio the guy was so vulgar, didn't even want to be seen talking to him. I tried to slow down to lose him and he would actually pull over on the shoulder to wait for me. Weird stuff. Finally he got ahead of me and I took an exit lol, I had to stop so I could find the shipper anyway.

What did you haul for that 19 miles? Sounds like a Fontana load.. they seem to always have crap stuff out there to move. I spent a whole week out there doing nothing but their biddings on 25-50 mile runs because there was no other driver around. I got paid hourly.. but i'd rather have had a 2k run.
Yeah, as much as i've found some great drivers in this CO... we have our share of D-bags too. Sounds like the 1% you came across. Ever have problems with that mic or radio at all since our KY run.. speaking of which? -

ThAs amazing his are always wrong yet I havent had one problem with my checks. Ive had some questionable things but a call to payroll and they explained what the system did... And all was well. Some people are just never happy.
Well props to the lubbock pete guys. They pull started me and had me follow them to the shop... Got me right in & was out in an hour. Ended up being the starter as suspected. Will only be 2 hours late for my delivery tho so not bad.I violated my 14 tho by 40 min... Theres NO parking between wichita falls and Gainesville on US82... So I just pressed on and got to the yard. So.. I totally expect something on this. Didnt have much of a choice tho. -
Behind the Dairy Queen at Nocona you can park for the night.

you get a new load mystikal? sitting in my truck waiting for ride to the house. The guy I swapped trailers with had a double drop so I'll see in a few days what, if anything, I get with this.
edit - two axle double drop. -
I haven't received a load as of yet. Sittin' at the Hitchin' Post in Gainesville waiting to see what they throw my way. I'm willin' to bet i'll be going to DFW for something. I could use it though... a stop through home would be good seeing as i'm almost out of clothes. That doubledrop has some good potential to it! Altho... i do think your restricted to 34k instead of the split 40k for weight.. so it may limit ya a bit.
