Yeah, that's the plan. Call O/O on Monday. I understand things being slow but if I can make more money elsewhere I'll be forced out. I can't justify staying away from my Fam at 600/wk and that's been my 2nd best week this year. The rest of it hasn't been close. I'd be all over somebody if I wasn't so stressed about everything else. I got this though. Just not excited about spending the next two months digging out of a hole that didn't have to be there!!

 

The freight is out there frost, there's no reason to be doing that bad. I've had one bad week this year so far, everything else has been over $1000 net pretax. Flip out and call everyone if you need to, time is working against you until you do.

 

Yep ... I agree!! When we reached our 'breaking point' with our last DM, I called O/O and asked how I could turn the truck in... Then explained what was happening... SURPRISE!! We have this 'new' fleet!! And for us right now, it's working out

 

Anyone know anything about the new dedicated fleet out of the NW? My family and I are planning to move along my current route this summer. If there is a new fleet that will take me by home without having to move I would like to look at it. I hate moving.

 

I'm sorry Arkansas Frost about your lady and her medical trouble. I will add her to my prayers. I hope you get more miles soon. I enjoy reading all of the posts that you all put up. I am so sorry about the multiple stresses that you are going through. Hang in there and know your not alone. I don't know you of course, but just keep your head up and I'm sure I can speak for others when I say we want the best for you and just hang in there! Things will get better. Believe me when I say I have had some tough times. I got through them. Family, friends and prayer is what got me through! Peace.

 

If my biggest worry is pocket money, then I have no worries! Thanks for the prayers. She's the strongest woman I know. She's tackled radiation with me only making 2 appointment out of 8. How she managed three kids with little help through the whole thing is beyond me. I know things will turn around at Central. I've ran great miles before and I've got my expenses down to where I can almost live off nothing (luckily enough). Hopefully this is the last time I do around for 24 hrs waiting on a load... 12 hours to go!

 

I hope Kraft picks back up soon, otherwise I'm gonna be in trouble when I murder some shippers and receivers. I forgot how absolutely awful these people are, not usually having to deal with live un/loads.

 

I agree with you p4p. You would think with us being the carrier of the year for them, they would throw us a bone and keep their dedicated fleet moving.

 

First rule of trucking: if it makes sense, that's not the way it's done.
