Things 2 years ago when this thread was started may have been different, I dunno. Bottom line without going into a long, drawn out diatribe detailing things is that in 3 weeks I have enough data in the computer to see that the potential profit margin is not worth the huge risk I've put myself in as a sole proprietor. Not to mention the fact that I don't like the truck well enough to justify a $146,000 payout over 58 months. Kenworth is not what the name implies anymore, and I can do better from a financial standpoint being a company driver at .40 a mile, versus this deal at an adjusted .25 a mile. Nothing personal against anyone, this is just not a good business decision for me and what it was portrayed to be before I got into it. So long everyone. Good luck and godspeed.

Hey drivers, I'm looking for some help. My hubby, Blaine Lechko truck 6134, works for ACT. He just finished his training about a week and a half ago. He started out with a load on Thursday and ACT was contacted to come and get his truck by the Platte County police. It was abandoned on the side of the road or at the scales. They towed it back to the yard. I have back tracked and found out that he was taken in on an outstanding warrent for over weight at scales from 2004. He paid his bond at Atchison, Kansas yesterday morning and left. I have not heard from him since Thursday. I am assuming he is trying to make his way back to Liberty and his truck to get his belongings. I am very worried and afraid he may be hurt somewhere. If you can spread the word, I need to hear from him. He can call me at 319-730-1898. Please help me find him. I don't know what to do. Let me know if you have seen him or heard of him. I'm assuming he is in the Kansas City area, trying to make it back to Liberty. Keep an eye out for him, please.

    Thanks,
    Liz

I'd like to know what and how was it "potrayed" to you?? I'm a little confused; you were all gung-ho 4 weeks ago, buying chrome polishing the truck and then BAM you up and leave??

For starters, I have not bought any chrome. I already had those hub covers. Yes, I cleaned it up and polished the wheels, that's just how I am. Though I won't go into any details here, I'll just say that 4 weeks ago I didn't know what I do now and leave it at that.

blechko, I hope everything turns out positive for you.
