I see here lots of content drivers there at JB hunt. Sometimes it makes me believe that either me and some of the drivers I spoke to in California were given the short end. Maybe just me. Anyway, hope you all make out good.

Like I said before, it depends on the account you are on and the management. It also helps to know how they run. I am on the day shift so there are plenty of loads to grab and lots of backhauls. The night guys aren't so lucky. Shorter runs and limited backhauls. JB does everything possible to get them miles but it is tough especially during off peak season. They have the option of helping out on other accounts in the area to compensate. If they last and get a chance to move up to days then good for them.

If you sign up to run in a light freight area your not going to make the money that drivers who run in heavy freight areas like me make that's not the company's fault we don't have many dedicated accounts out in the southwest to chose from . That's what it looks like judging from the jobs website if you live in a higher population area like the mid Atlantic and the northeast there is plenty of good accounts to chose from there is half a dozen good accounts for me to chose from in my area if you live in an area were there are not many or no dedicated accounts then jb may not be your best choice as a place to work again not jbs fault . In that case you need to look for a company that has a better position in your local area .

Because for every driver like you who is doing good, there are 100 who are not.

HOPE you have an IMMACULATE driving record!!! I went thru a JBHunt recruiter at their corp. office and dealt with one of their inspectors. BOTH said I was all clear for the job come to orientation. I did the drug tests driving/backing tests and was into the second day of orientation when the inspector's Supervisor called me to tell me i do not meet JB's criteria. This AFTER I made them verify EVERYTHING and get the clearing because I DO NOT have a spotless record, and I was not wanting to quit my job, no matter how unhappy I was there, unless I had another job lined up... SO MUCH FOR INSPECTORS AND RECRUITERS ACCURACY!!!
