Tire jockeys at Loves are also janitors and general flunkies, buyer beware.

O.K. if the valve stem was not there from installation, you could not have driven 5 minutes much less 3 hours without knowing something is really wrong real quick, like before you exited the loves parking lot. I would think the valve stem got damaged while you were driving. I would not call it any ones fault. one day while unloading 20 miles from my house, walking around my truck/ trailer, I noticed my sight glass in one of my rear axle hubs had the clear plastic broke out. the rest of the hubcap was there but the rubber seal & plastic glass was gone. since I was the one who put in on probably a year ago, I couldnt blame myself, and I had pretripped & it was o.k. MY only guess was a wild rock thrown by a tire likely caused it.

I have used loves in California and the one in LH City, never had a problem. Obviously something went wrong with your situation. I think Loves went above and beyond for you though, you got everything you wanted, with the exception of paperwork. Understanding that Loves does not warranty the tire the manufacturer does, they did you a favor. If you have a issue with that tire down the road & you show the road service paperwork, kiss that warranty goodbye.

I guess some of you missed a simple point. A valve stem not tighten properly will result in an air leak. A slow air leak that will eventually kick it "off" resulting in tire coming off the rim. Loves Tire Tech acknowledged it was their fault. Loves refused to provide paperwork to cover it up.

Now Imagine the same person working on your truck and your steer tires comes off at 50-60mph. Its a disaster. Loves should have found the responsible party and trained them properly or fired them. I did not ask for money nor did I ask for anything else. Just a party to be held responsible. And for them to come back and say its my trucks fault is just outright stupid.

What's scary is the crackerheads are now starting to do truck repairs at some locations. I wouldn't let em check the air in my tires. You want your engine worked on go to the people that made it. You want tires replaced go to a real tire shop.

Well if it was a slow leak like you say than it is totally your fault it came to the point the wheel came off . A slow leak the tire would have gone low to a point the truck would have bin pulling to that side . I think there would of bin plenty of time to pull into truck stop and tighten it up and fill with air

You think wrong son. I have had a steer tire blowout and you dont feel any difference untill the tire comes off the rim.The Loves screwed up plain and simple. I got a tire repaired at Speedco last week and the first thing the did was remove the valve stem. Not the valve core but the whole stem. They said that is how they do it there.

This tire did not blow out from what he said .It went flat . So of course a blow out may not give notice a tire with a leak may . I don't know if Loves made a mistake or he hit something and knock the stem of and you don't ether boy .
