OK I have been with Werner for a while now and am ready to make a move somewhere more profitable where I am treated a bit better. I have 6 months experience.

The only thing I am really looking for is a company that pays better, (Right now i make .26 CPM) has either an APU or high capacity inverter in their trucks, Preferably an APU! Other than that, I am pretty much open. I would like to travel to the west coast more and don't really care if i go to NYC or not.

    Any ideas?

Perhaps you can give Tyson Foods, out of Springdale Arkansas, a call at 1-800-933-6442. They have a reputation of treating their drivers well with excellent pay and benefits.

Look on Craigslist you might find a small comp that runs reefers out to west coast. You'll make more than the best week at Werner.

There are so many options, go to the tab on top and look, I used to do western 11 with Knight, both on Dry van Division and Reefer, you shouldnt have any problems making more than the scraps you have been getting(been there my self). GTI would prob offer you .30, Central Refrig .31, and then you have a bunch others, Try to stay away from Mega companies since they are just like Werner, look at smaller ones, better miles and more respect

Our company Holland Enterprises out of Fargo, has all new trucks (they don't keep longer than 3 years), all loaded. Fridge, APU, and inverters (you have to buy the inverter, but they'll install it if you want it). 34-36cpm to start. Plus quarterly bonuses, mileage, safety and fuel. Plus a 2cpm yearly bonus. And are true OTR, run all over, all the time. Never been to NYC with them.

    CobraDane and Sportpilot Thank this.
