How to contest parking citation in Compton, CA?

Btw I got a log violation in cali in 2010 it was $650 I had a choice log violation or speeding ticket since it didnt go on my mvr I choose the log book.

 

How can u get a warrant issued without your license info?

 

Well, he did say there was a sign saying "NO PARKING" on his side of the street. Suck it up, pay the fines and move on. Oh, and don't park in no parking zones.

I was 10 hrs behind and ca says you can only be 3..

 

It was nice of him to at least give me a choice..

 

now this is just my own personal opinion but i would decide between throwing that sht away OR spending money on a lawyer service and contesting it. i would rather spend 1000 on a lawyer then pay 300bux to the city for a parking ticket some scum bag wrote. thats just me.... that guy is writing parking tickets to trucks in compton like theres nothing better to do for a cop in compton? that scum bag is trying to meet his quotas the easy way

 

My thoughts as well.

If you're going to park in a no parking zone at least be man enough to pay the fine.
Maybe getting towed would have more impact?

I'm really tired of people blaming someone else for their own stupidity - like the traffic cop (who was doing his job) that gave the citation.
