I have been trying to get ahold of them for 4 days. I put in an application but still have not heard from them.
-
Never mind finally got ahold of mindy and she said app. was denied, when asked for what reason she said it doesnt say. It doesnt upset me though cause ya gotta think if they wont return phone calls then what will happen when you need them. Just got a call from sammons and headed to them anyway, seems like a better company, no waiting on calls and very informative about their program unlike atc. When i called asking questions about their programs i was told fill out an app. then we will answer your questions. That should of threw up a red flag there. Will post about my journey with a REAL company (SAMMONS) along the way.

ACT is a great company to work for - that being said, they only want the best drivers driving there and representing the company. You must have had something on you Mvr or criminal background. Glad you found somewhere you're happy at. Good luck and happy trucking. 😉

Anyone looking to talk to Marsha @ Act recruiting - 816-550-0001 is her cell phone. If she doesn't answer please leave a voicemail or text message her and she'll help you out ASAP. 😉

Daaaaamn.... Someone's real sour here
And how did ya know I dressed up as a cheerleader for Halloween?? Lol
I don't cheerlead, I say it as it is... Vacation time last year since you asked, lets see, about 38 days, not to count my lazy days I don't feel like driving.
This year took off 12 days already for vacations, not to count random days off. I work hard and enjoy putting stamps in my passport. My other hobby is guns if you care to know, and I try to get all I can these days.
Don't be sour cause it didn't work out for ya, many have done it, many are doing it and many more will do it...but like I said its not for everyone. And once again I'm not a cheerleader here - I don't always drive 62, usually 65, sometimes 68-72 if I'm bored and feel the need for speed and yes it costs me a pretty penny in fuel. There's guys that drive 55-58 and recruit non stop but that has nothing to do with working here. There's a place for everyone, somewhere.
I'm sure I had more to say but it's been a long day and its time for time with my pillow. I'm done here, good luck to ya.

I"ll call an ace of spades an ace of spades all day. And it ruffles feathers to. And I catch slack for it from other ACT drivers but oh well.
Ive said it before careful watch you read on here . If you had a good experience reading it chances are your going to have a good experience. But that doesnt mean your experience is gonna be the same as the one you read . I learnt that the hard way i almost quit because i wasnt making what others were. But my experience as a jarhead made me stick it out . Thank god I wasnt in the HOOOOOAAAAHHHHHH whatever that is . Well actually i know what it is but those were my high school days (sorry blacklions had to do it).
ACT gives you a fair chance its up to you to find a way to make it work ,and yes sacrifices have to be made live it or fail . How hungry are you ,only you know that . I know im gonna do everything in my power to get this title or save some money in the bank, either way im not walking away empty handed.
You got my word on that so HOOOOOAAAAHHHHHHH.
Time for me to hit the sack im having way to much funBlackLions and Wickedfire77 Thank this.
