Getting ready to make a move, and this is where my decsions are laying right now. I have been searching, not would like to hea from some current drivers at these companies.
Some of the pros and cons,
SRT, has a lease program, but a long wait. Mostly long haul, CONS, Intrnationals
JBS, a new MW regional, not working out of Greely, but Green Bay, will start at the top of the pay scale
Averitt, terminal in Columbus, close to home, run mostly the MW and South, apu in trucks
Decker, running out of the Ft. Wayne terminl, mostly bouncing from PA to Nebraska and the SW and SE and MW.
Decisions, Decisions, SRT, JBS, Averitt or Decker

i am biased i say go for Decker LOL. all good companies good luck.
-
is JBS long haul also?
To me, if it ain't long haul, it ain't OTR. Period. -
So, have you been offered jobs at these companies ? Or, are you going to apply and assume you will get hired ? I know Covenant bought SRT some time back, not sure how involved they are in managing them. Decker has flatbed and van/reefers. (the one out of Ft. Dodge, Ia.) JBS, Reefer and meat loads, lots of meat loads. Personally, I despise meat plants, the stink, filth and waiting, waiting, waiting. Averitt is, I believe, dry van.
